About Dave Milstead

Dave Milstead

Dave Milstead graduated in 1977 with a Fine Arts degree in Design from University of North Carolina Greensboro. Since then his career has spanned the gamut of design/art related gigs - from being a North Carolina Arts Council artist-in-residence, to teaching design at a small NC college, to art director/owner of several ad agencies. After over 25 years spent mostly in the commercial arts industry, his desire to get back to his fine arts roots, coupled with his interest in digital photography and the male form, prompted him to delve into male figurative photography.
